Earthworms, Earthworms

This week I had so much fun because I found earthworms!!! Some were tiny and some were big. I made a box with soil, leaves, apple skins and carrots for my earthworms to eat. They feel cold and lumpy and soft. They live under the grass, deep down. My whole class are now interested in learning about earthworms too.

Prayer Pebbles

I made a Prayer pebble. I first drew a picture of what it would look like. Then I coloured my pebble with felts. I made a cross and colours all around it. At home I can hold it and make a prayer to God. My family can too.

Dinosaur

Today I was with Myca. I made a doodle picture and then Myca saw a dinosaur. Then I made a poem about a Velocisaurus. This is my Cinquain Poem

I Love Art!

Art is fun! For Matariki we painted patterns on bags and then cut them up and made them into a kite. We read “The Seven Kites of Matariki.” I liked it.

In the last week of term, we made our own waka. Natalie came to help me paint. I like my waka:
